Surgery Co-Management at Dalton Family Eyecare
We believe you and your family deserve the clearest vision possible. That’s why if you would benefit from a medical or vision correction eye surgery, Dalton Family Eyecare is proud to partner with the area’s leading eye surgeons to co-manage your procedure and ensure exceptional experiences and outcomes.
Your
Partner for All Things Eye Care
We’re proud to offer a full range of eye care solutions to the communities we serve, including pediatric eye care, diabetic eye care, and dry eye disease treatment, but if your eyes need surgery, we’ve still got you covered. We maintain close relationships with expert local surgeons and can effectively and efficiently communicate your eye health and vision needs to them so they have all the information they need. We don’t stop there — we’ll continue to work with them throughout your surgery process and into your aftercare to make sure you’re getting the clear eyesight you deserve.
What to Expect
With Surgery Co-Management
If you need cataract surgery, LASIK, SMILE, PRK, or any other procedure, we’ll stay in touch with your surgeon and keep them up to date with our complete picture of your eye health, history, and vision goals. And at the same time, we’ll help you get ready for your surgery, making sure you know exactly what’s coming up and what you need to do to prepare your eyes. We’re also an important part of your aftercare: during follow-up appointments, we’ll test to ensure you’re maintaining your enhanced vision, confirm that any side effects are within expectations, and ensure your recovery is completely on track.
Medical Procedures
If you have cataracts, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, or another medical condition, we’re going to be there for you — even if we believe surgery is the next step in your care. We will refer you to some of the best medical ophthalmologists in the area, surgeons who specialize in these diseases, and work with them to ensure that your eyes are healthy throughout the surgical process.
Vision Correction
While we don’t perform LASIK, PRK, SMILE, or other refractive surgeries ourselves, we do work closely with some of Georgia’s most trusted eye surgeons: whether it’s with our glasses or vision correction surgery, we want you to see your absolute best. We’ll always be your advocate, which is why we make sure your surgeon knows about you and how you use your eyes for more precise, personalized results.
