Dr. Dalton first earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Western Michigan University, and went on to achieve his Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. He has long been a member of the American Optometric Association, and has acted as both a member and District 9 President of the Georgia Optometric Association.

In his free time, Dr. Dalton enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hiking waterfalls. He loves working on his BBQ skills and is an avid runner (to keep down the BBQ-induced cholesterol). Dr. Dalton has also spent many years going to Nicaragua with BASIC Nicaragua to do mission work.
